| * UPDATE *
FOX RIDGE SPEEDWAY:
McKayRacing was looking forward to their second trip to Fox Ridge as they had a strong car at the opener, they started on the same note with a second place run in the heat race. Starting in the back of the feature they felt they would have a car strong enough for a top three but not enough changes were made to the car so Andrew struggled to a sixth place finish.
DEER CREEK SPEEDWAY:
Once again Andrew drew poorly; 149 of 150 to put him dead last in the heat. No worries though as he came from the rear of the field to finish third. This gave him an outside pole starting spot for the feature and he wasted no time jumping out to a big lead early on. After 10 laps he and Adam Hensel had checked out from the field and were ready to battle through lapped traffic. However the caution flag flew resetting the field. Soon after the first there was another yellow which is when Andrew began to lose his right rear tire (sealed over creating less grip in the tire). On the next restart both Hensel and Ron Schreiner were able to get by and a lap later Keith Foss was able to get passed him. Finally after five laps the tire came back to life and he began putting heavy pressure on Foss but his time ran out and ended up with a fourth place finish.
PROCTOR SPEEDWAY:
The team headed up to the Opener for Proctor Speedway on Sunday and had another strong run. In the heat Andrew finished third which put him third row inside for the feature. Going in to the feature he knew he had a trong car but ended a little disappointed as he felt the car was stronger than the cars in front of him but the track conditions did not cooperate making for about a 10 foot lane for racing which makes passing very hard. Andrew ended up fourth and is satisfied with the weekend closing with a couple top fives.
MEMORIAL WEEKEND:
