July 26th: This past weekend McKay Racing attended four races in Nebraska at two racetracks; Mid-Nebraska Raceway and Boone County Raceway. On Friday night Andrew won his heat race and ended up fourth in the final rundown behind Dave Eckrich, Kyle Berck, and winner Kelly Boen. Saturday night Andrew won his heat race again and ended up fifth in the feature behind Bryant Goldsmith, Dave Eckrich, Kyle Berck, and winner Kelly Boen. Sunday night the team headed to Boone County Raceway for a WDRL show where Andrew finished third in his heat race and fourth in the feature behind Brian Birkhofer, Kyle Berck and winner John Kaanta. Monday night the World of Outlaws visited the Boone County Raceway where Andrew timed in eighth fastest and later won his competitive heat race. At the beginning of the feature it looked to be an all top five weekend while he ran third for the first fifteen laps, but soon after faded due to a gamble on running soft tires. After all fifty laps were complete Andrew had a RR going flat and a completely bald tire but still ended up twelfth in the final rundown. Up next is the Superior Speedway on July 30th and the Cedar Lake Speedway on the 31st through August 2nd for the USA Nationals.
